We know that the decision around the selection and commitment to an asset management technology platform is far from trivial. Apart from the fact that the technology platform sits at the centre of operations controlling billions in assets, in many cases the legacy environment will have a huge capital cost associated, and will also entail an enormous sunk investment of capital and human resources over time. As important, is the fact that humans are generally averse to change, and the risks associated with the unknown.

In previous lives, we have suffered through the pain and anguish of systems' migration a good many times and we recognise that this process, alone, might mitigate against prospective clients' changing to Objectivitii, even when all else screams its praises.

Recognising this, we have invested meaningful resources in developing an installation / migration methodology that soothes jumpy nerves and ensures:

Driven, largely, by process templates, the implementation relies strongly on a project management infrastructure with clearly defined deliverables and authority. The project team will incorporate the client's key personnel / "process owners" and objectivitii's implementation and training team. A critical first step is the identification and documentation of existing business workflow.

Then, after completion of the needs analysis and requirements definition, the structure of the solution is finalised and an implementation timetable is put forward for signoff.
